Jun 1, 1983 — Whereas the Rabbinical Council of America is a national organization with members serving in all parts of our country, and Whereas limiting conventions to the eastern sector, in effect, disenfranchises many of our members. Therefore, the The Rabbinical Council of America in convention assembled, RESOLVES that its conventions be rotated with the location one year being an out-of-town site and the succeeding two years devoted to the metropolitan New York area. It further resolves that the 1984 convention take place in Memphis, Tennessee and that it be held in the month of May. |
