| Whereas THE Rabbinical Council of America reaffirms its belief that human life is a gift of G-d, and Whereas the Almighty remains the creator and proprietor of our existence, therefore the The Rabbinical Council of America in convention assembled, NOTES with horror the popularization of the belief that life can be ended when problems arise. We condemn those who allow babies to die by refusing to provide them food and medicine, and we take strong exception to the idea that suicide is an acceptable alternative. We reaffirm our commitment to the sanctification of human life and the responsibility this belief entails. |
