The Rabbinical Council of America, the leading organization of orthodox rabbis in North America, expresses its profound grief and outrage over the murder of Ari Fuld– husband, father, son, brother, community leader, lover and advocate for the State of Israel– at the hands of a Palestinian terrorist. Rabbi Elazar Muskin, president of the RCA, stated, “Ari Fuld was a passionate man who led with wisdom and warmth. From a prominent American modern Orthodox family in the United States, he and his family became Israeli citizens and embraced the land and its people with respect and love. He was a fervent defender and advocate for the State of Israel and its people. We were all the better for his selfless contributions. His murder leaves a gaping hole for his family, friends, community and nation. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends.” Rabbi Daniel Korobkin, RCA first vice president, added, “We are outraged by the continuing violence perpetrated against innocent life through heartless terror. Resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is only set back by such cruel and inhumane acts. Peace is based on the fundamental principle that human life is holy and that all are created in the image of God.”
