RCA Stresses the Importance of All Human Life – Jewish or Non-Jewish

Jun 1, 1996 — The Rabbinical Council of America in convention assembled declares that our understanding of what it takes to follow G-d’s imperative includes not only conforming with Jewish ritual law but also a willingness to conform with Jewish ethical principles as well. Recent statements by those wearing an Orthodox mantle that degrade the importance of all human life, Jewish or non-Jewish, are in direct contradiction of what Judaism teaches, the sanctity and primacy of all human life.
