RCA Statement on the Attempted Assassination of Former President Trump

July 16, 2024 – The Rabbinical Council of America, as a member organization within the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, echoes the Conference’s shock and distress at the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump this past weekend. The RCA applauds renewed calls from various political leaders appealing for a lowering of the temperature of political rhetoric in the wake of this attack.
