Statement on a Parade Slated for the Sacred City of Jerusalem
July 5, 2006 — The Rabbinical Council of America has today communicated to the appropriate governmental authorities in Israel its firm opposition to permitting an event entitled “The Gay Pride Parade,” to take place in the holy city of Jerusalem, and whose organizers seek to celebrate and promote homosexual and lesbian practices.
