RCA Condemns Antisemitism of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene
February 7, 2021 – The Rabbinical Council of America, the leading membership organization of orthodox rabbis in North America, condemns the vitriolic antisemitism voiced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Despite her statements of regret regarding many of the conspiracy theories she voiced, she has yet to publicly retract her antisemitic lies. These lies together with other conspiracy theories helped propel her to a position of prominence and were irresponsible and appalling.
The leadership of this great country bears the responsibility to act and speak responsibly as it represents a nation founded on the principles of human dignity and justice. As history has taught us, behaviors such as hers threaten the welfare and safety not only of our Jewish community, but of all minorities.
The RCA calls on all responsible people to condemn her hate speech. We must work together to stop hatred whenever and from wherever it rears its ugly head.
