Rabbinical Council of America Responds to Jewish Attack against Israeli Army Base

The Rabbinical Council of America views the reprehensible attack perpetrated by Jews against Israel Defense Force (IDF) officers, soldiers, and an IDF base with deep concern. We join in solidarity with Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government in their policy to severely punish any perpetrators of crimes against the Israel Defense Forces. The IDF serves as the agent of the entire Jewish nation in defending Israel and protecting its citizens. Neither physical violence nor verbal abuse against IDF personnel is acceptable.

We are on record in support of the Israeli government’s policy of Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria. We view the criminal acts of the individuals who attacked the Israel Defense Forces personnel and base as a threat to all of the communities in Judea and Samaria.
