At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Rabbinical Council of America, held by conference call, on Wed., June 16, 2021, President Daniel Korobkin in the chair, and Reuven Tradburks acting on behalf of the secretary, the following items were decided:

President’s Report. Daniel Korobkin thanked Rabbi Dratch for his leadership during the pandemic. There were things we were unable to do these past 2 years as a result of the pandemic but we are proud of what we were able to do and in the things that will appear shortly including upcoming publications of Hadarom in memory of Rav Gedaliah Dov Schwartz z”l, Tradition in memory of Rabbi Lamm z”l, and the new Madrich which is proceeding well.

Mark Dratch reported that the Canadian Friends of the RCA allows support of the RCA in Canada. Thank you to Roy Feldman and Idan Scher on a wonderful and creative Convention.

Thank you to outgoing Executive Committee members: Dovid Asher, Noah Cheses, Eli Eleff, Shaanan Gelman, Yaakov Gibber, David Hellman, Doniel Kramer, Ariel Konstantyn, Andrew Markowitz, Yechiel Morris, Philip Moskowitz, Avram Rothman, Moshe Taub, Brahm Weinberg.

Semicha Standards Committee

A motion to accept the following semichas passed unanimously: Private Semicha of Dayan Ehrentreu, London, Private Semichah of Rabbi Aharon Zeigler, Kollel Agudas Achim, Yerushalayim; Yeshiva Semichah, Sephardic Rabbinical College, Brooklyn.

The following were approved unanimously for membership in the RCA:
Isaac Berdugo, Shai Berman, Yonatan Danziger, Joseph Dweck, Ari Faust, Shlomo Gabay, Moshe Haber, Yonatan Jaffit, Daniel Kada, Matti Laufer, Tzvi Mauner, Abbish Rand, Sam Reinstein, Simon David Roberts, Daniel Staum, Isaac Tawil, Noah Whittenburg.

A motion to approve an allocation for scanning and electronically organizing RCA Files with SecureScan, (estimate) $11,119.00 passed unanimously.

The Annual Meeting for the results of the election will be Thursday, June 17, 1 PM EDT.
