Rabbi Aharon Ziegler is the Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation Agudath Achim of Boro Park in Brooklyn, New York, where he has actively served for thirty six years. He is currently the Rosh Kollel of Yeshiva O'Raita, in Israel, a Smicha-granting program, for advanced students in Talmudic studies.
A student of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik, zt”l for many years, Rabbi Ziegler does extensive lecturing and writing on the Halakhic positions of the Rav. He has published six volumes on the Halakhot of the Rav and has served as Scholar-in-Residence throughout the United States and Israel.
Rabbi Ziegler received his Master’s degree in religious education from Yeshiva University and is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America, the Rabbinical Board of Brooklyn and the Rabbinical Alliance of America.
Rabbi Ziegler and his wife Libby made Aliyah in 2009; they live in Yerushalayim, and enjoy the winter months here in Deerfield Beach.
They are blessed with four married children, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
