March 22, 2022 – The Rabbinical Council of America, the leading membership organization of orthodox rabbis in North America, condemns the violent terror attack perpetuated against Israeli citizens today at a shopping center in Beer Sheva. The RCA mourns the murders of Dorit Yahbas, Rabbi Moshe Kravitsky, Laura Yitzhak, and one other who were violently killed and prays for the recovery of the two were seriously injured. The RCA applauds Israeli bus driver Arthur Chaimov who confronted and shot the terrorist, and the efforts of Israeli security forces and first responders.

Rabbi Binyamin Blau, president of the RCA, said, “There is no justification for violence and terror. We condemn the terrorist, as well as Hamas which called this attack on innocent civilians a ‘heroic operation.’ Peaceful coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians is damaged by these murderous attacks. We extend our condolences to the grieving families and our prayers for a complete and speedy recovery to those who were injured.”
