RCA Condemns Terror Attack at Armon HaNatziv

The Rabbinical Council of America, the leading organization of Orthodox rabbis in North America, expresses its outrage at the recent terror attack at the Haas Promenade in Jerusalem which claimed the lives of four young Israelis. The RCA extends its condolences to the families of Erez Orbach, 20; Shira Tzur, 20; Shir Hajaj, 22; and Yael Yekutiel, 20. The RCA prays for the speedy recovery of those injured.

Rabbi Shalom Baum, president of the RCA, stated, “This latest terror attack highlights the serious challenges faced by Israel in securing peace and in assuring the safety and security of its people. This and other recent terror attacks are the direct results of the continuing conscious incitement towards violence on the part of the Palestinian political and religious leadership. As long as Hamas and ISIS call upon their followers to wage a religious war through murder and mayhem, and as long as the leadership of the Palestinian Authority fails to publicly condemn this approach, true peace in the region will remain elusive.”
