June 2, 2021 – The Rabbinical Council of America, the leading membership organization of orthodox rabbis in North America, congratulates Isaac Herzog on his election as the 11th president of the State of Israel.
Rabbi Daniel Korobkin, president of the RCA, said, “Mr. Herzog has a lifelong record of service and commitment to the State of Israel having served in many leadership positions including the Keneset and as chairman of the Jewish Agency. We congratulate him as he assumes this important position, following in the footsteps of his late father, Chaim Herzog, who served as Israel’s sixth president from 1983 to 1993, and wish him blessing and success in his efforts for the State of Israel and the Jewish people.”
