| The Rabbinical Council of America in convention assembled, TAKES EXCEPTION TO THE MISUSE OF THE MEDIA for the purpose of defaming the characters of GEDOLEI YISRAEL and responsible Jewish Leaders. WE PARTICULARLY NOTE WITH DISMAY the recent attacks in the Jewish Press against Rav Aharon Lichtenstien, SHLITA, in which his views were recklessly distorted. WE CONMEN such disrespectful behavior towards a GADOL BEYISRAEL, and affirm our deep reverence and respect for this individual who has been a Rebbie to many members of the RCA and whose guidance we continue to seek. |
