The RCA Congratulates President Biden and Vice-President Harris

January 20, 2021 – The Rabbinical Council of America, the leading membership organization of orthodox rabbis in North America, congratulates Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and Kamala Harris on their inauguration as president and vice president of the United States.

Rabbi Daniel Korobkin, president of the RCA, said, “We wish President Biden and Vice President Harris the greatest success in their efforts to heal our fractured country and in their work to ensure the health and safety of our citizens suffering from the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will regularly pray that God grant them the strength to lead all Americans to a safe and prosperous future.”

Rabbi Binyamin Blau, vice president of the RCA, said, “We commend the Biden Administration’s commitment to unite the country, to reach across the aisle and engage all the leaders of this land, to work to protect the civil rights of all citizens, and to continue the United States’ support for the security of the State of Israel. And we celebrate the swearing in of Kamala Harris as the country’s first woman and person of color as vice president.”
