Avi Anderson, LMSW, serves as Associate Rabbi at Young Israel Aish in Las Vegas, a position he has held for over a decade, while also maintaining a clinical psychotherapy practice. His work focuses on treating anxiety and OCD, sex and porn addiction, and marital and relational difficulties, as well as guiding individuals through periods of transition and personal struggle. Rabbi Michael Bleicher
Michael Bleicher is a licensed clinical social worker licensed in NY and NJ who helps his clients regain their footing in the face of anxiety, depression, grief and loss and trauma. His practice is a supportive space for both individuals and couples who are navigating complex adjustments and transitions in their lives, particularly infertility, pregnancy loss and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Mrs. Penina Flug
Penina Flug, LCSW EFT has been providing psychotherapy for nearly two decades. She received advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy at the Ackerman institute. Her private practice focuses on couples and relationship therapy as well as premarital and marriage enhancement sessions. She is committed to creating awareness in the Orthodox Jewish community of the importance of premarital education, and is a Lasting Connection Workshop Facilitator.

Dr. Michal Goldberg
Michal Goldberg, PhD, is a clinical psychologist in Teaneck, NJ. She primarily treats adolescents and adults with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and relationship struggles. Dr. Goldberg is also the Director of Psychology Training at Achieve Behavioral Health, in Monsey, where she coordinates and supervises training programs for psychology doctoral students who aspire to practice in the Jewish Orthodox community.

Rabbi Larry Rothwachs
Rabbi Larry Rothwachs, a licensed clinical social worker, has served as rabbi at Congregation Beth Aaron in Teaneck, NJ since August 2002. Rabbi Rothwachs is a graduate of Yeshiva College, the Azrieli School of Jewish Education, and the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and received his semicha from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. From 1998 through 2016, Rabbi Rothwachs taught Talmud at Yeshiva University High School for Boys and the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey and he currently serves as head rabbi of Camp Morasha. In April 2016, he was appointed Director of Professional Rabbinics at RIETS at Yeshiva University. In January 2023, Rabbi Rothwachs was appointed as the founding rabbi of Meromei Shemesh, a new community, currently under construction, in Ramat Bet Shemesh.

Rabbi Dr. Mordechai Schiffman
Rabbi Dr. Mordechai Schiffman is an Assistant Professor at Yeshiva University’s Azrieli Graduate School, the Director of Leadership Scholars at the Sacks-Herenstein Center, and an instructor at RIETS. He holds a BA in psychology, an MS in Jewish Education, an MA in Jewish Philosophy, Rabbinic Ordination, and a Psy.D. in Psychology. Rabbi Dr. Schiffman also serves as the associate rabbi at Kingsway Jewish Center in Brooklyn, NY, and practices as a licensed psychologist. He is the author of Psyched for Torah: Cultivating Character and Well-Being Through the Weekly Parsha.

Dr. Yael Muskat
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have been working as therapist for over 25 years, with a focus on emerging adults, identity development, relationship challenges, and destigmatization of mental health in the Orthodox community. I have an integrated therapy style, utilizing both CBT and interpersonal modalities dependent on the issue at hand. I am privileged to work as Director of the Yeshiva University Counseling Center and have a small private practice. My husband is a Rabbi of a shul and as such, this cause is special to me as well.
