RCA Mourns the Murder of Terrorist Victim Eli Kay, הי”ד

November 22, 2021 – The Rabbinical Council of America, the leading membership organization of orthodox rabbis in North America, mourns the death of Eli Kay who was murdered on Sunday by a Hamas terrorist in the Old City of Jerusalem. Kay, an immigrant from South Africa, was lauded by Diaspora Affairs Minister Nachman Shai for his great dedication to the State of Israel and to the Jewish people, noting that “We are departing today from a paratrooper, from a fighter, from a yeshiva student, from an Israeli who fulfilled his desires in the Land of Israel.”

Rabbi Binyamin Blau, president of the RCA, extended condolences to the family and friends of Eli Kay and urged the government of Israel to continue its efforts to ensure the safety and security of the citizens of Israel.
