He joined the faculty in 1967, at the age of 26, the youngest Rosh Yeshiva at RIETS. Since 1971, Rabbi Schachter has been Rosh Kollel in RIETS’ Marcos and Adina Katz Kollel (Institute for Advanced Research in Rabbinics) and also holds the institution’s Nathan and Vivian Fink Distinguished Professorial Chair in Talmud. In addition to his teaching duties, Rabbi Schachter lectures, writes, and serves as a world renowned decisor of Jewish Law. A prolific author, he has written more than 100 articles, in Hebrew and English, for such scholarly publications as HaPardes, Hadarom, Beth Yitzchak, and Or Hamizrach. Seforim written include Eretz HaTzvi, B’ikvei HaTzon, Ginas Haegoz, and Nefesh HaRav, MiPninei HaRav and Divrei HaRav. At age 22, Rabbi Schachter was appointed assistant to the renowned Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik zt”l. Rabbi Schachter earned his B.A. from Yeshiva College, an M.A. in Hebrew Literature from the Bernard Revel Graduate School in 1967, and was ordained that same year.

Rav Yosef Zvi Rimon is an internationally acclaimed posek – decisor of Jewish law – as well as an author, educator, and lecturer. Through his book series, Halakha MiMekora, Rav Rimon has become known worldwide for developing an innovative methodology for teaching Halakha, taking the reader from the sources to the practical application of Halakha in our modern reality within the framework of a user-friendly, pedagogical methodology. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Rav Rimon was awarded the Katz Prize in 2018 for the application of Halakha in modern society, the President’s Prize for Volunteerism in 2008, and the Moskowitz Prize for Zionism in 2014 for his revolutionary Chessed initiatives.

 

 

 

 

 

 [/vc_hoverbox][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_hoverbox image=”7627″ primary_title=”Rabbi Ronald Schwarzberg” hover_title=”Rabbi Ronald Schwarzberg” shape=”round” el_width=”80″]Rabbi Ronald Schwarzberg, CPT, a graduate of Yeshiva University’s Yeshiva College and Ferkauf School of Psychology, received his ordination from YU’s affiliated Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS). He has served as the Director of the Morris and Gertrude Bienenfeld Department of Jewish Career Development and Placement, a division of Yeshiva University’s Center for the Jewish Future (CJF), since July 2005. During this period of time he has placed hundreds of RIETS and RCA rabbis in their positions and helped them with their contracts and many other issues rabbis face in the active rabbinate. Rabbi Schwarzberg served from 1986-2005 as senior rabbi of Congregation Ahavas Achim in Highland Park, New Jersey. Rabbi Schwarzberg serves as an active member of the RCA Retirement Plan Committee and encourages its members to take advantage of the plan in support of providing themselves with financial security in the future for retirement. He has served as co-chair of the Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County and as chair of the Rabbinic Cabinet of the United Jewish Communities. In July of 2016, Rabbi Schwarzberg was the keynote speaker at the United Kingdom’s first ever Inspired Jewish Leadership Conference hosted by the United Synagogue (US). In April of 2015, Rabbi Schwarzberg earned his National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification in Personal Training (CPT). He is married to Morah Judy, a preschool teacher at the Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva. Together they have four children: Ari (and Naomi), Elana Kurtz (and Rabbi Elie), Aviva Reich (and Philip), and Shayna Itzhak (and Noam). They are proud grandparents of seven.

 

 

 

 [/vc_hoverbox][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_hoverbox image=”40613″ primary_title=”Rabbi Moshe Hauer” hover_title=”Rabbi Moshe Hauer” shape=”round” el_width=”80″]Rabbi Moshe Hauer joined the Orthodox Union (OU) as its Executive Vice President on May 1, 2020. In this role he serves as the organization’s rabbinic leader, heading its communal-oriented efforts and serving as its professional religious/policy leader and primary spokesman.

Prior to joining the OU, Rabbi Hauer served as the senior Rabbi of the Bnai Jacob Shaarei Zion Congregation in Baltimore, MD for 26 years, where he was active in local communal leadership in many areas, with an emphasis on education, children-at-risk, and social service organizations serving the Jewish community. Rabbi Hauer is an active teacher of Torah who led a leadership training program for rabbis and communal leaders, and was a founding editor of the online journal Klal Perspectives.

 

Rabbi Hauer received his rabbinic ordination and doctor of Talmudic law from Ner Israel. He received his master’s of science from John Hopkins University.

The region includes Texas through Alberta, Canada and as far east as Missouri. Rabbi Posy, who also serves as Associate Rabbi at Beth Jacob Congregation in Los Angeles, is a father of six and is keenly interested in the intersection of medicine and Halacha and the construction of community eruvin.

Steven is a graduate of Boston University College of Business Administration. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant. Steven is an Affiliate Member of the American Society of Pension Professional and Actuaries (ASPPA) which is a part of the American Retirement Association. He is also a Member of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA). Steven is currently National Co-chairman of the ABC’s (ASPPA Benefits Councils) leadership. He is also the current President of the ASPPA Benefits Council of New York. He serves on the Board of the Mid-Atlantic User Group of SunGard’s Relius Wealth and Retirement Division. Steven has written pension articles for various publications and also taught Continuing Education courses for the past fifteen years to members of the insurance and accounting industries.
